Warehouse Administrator

Randstad is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to join our growing team in Didcot. You will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management, smooth order processing, and exceptional customer service.
Location: Harwell, Oxfordshire
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including receiving, stocking, and dispatching. Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to optimise stock levels and minimise waste.
- Order Processing: Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accurate fulfilment and timely delivery. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all warehouse transactions, including inventory movements, order statuses, and shipping information. Utilise computer systems and databases to manage data effectively.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding order status and product availability. Resolve any issues or concerns related to warehouse operations.
- Warehouse Organisation and Efficiency: Assist with the organisation and layout of the warehouse to optimise space utilisation and ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse administration role.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse software systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with specific warehouse software systems.
- Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain management principles.
