An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waste Coordinator to join our clients leading FM company in Stockton.
Randstad is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual with exceptional knowledge of waste processes, strong administrative skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring waste operations run efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
The Package:
- Competitive salary between £28,000 - £30,000 (Highly dependant on experience)
- Main working hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
- 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily monitoring of Waste Services, including Helpdesk, CMMS, and related service data tracking.
- Collaborate with partners and contractors to ensure the safe and consistent delivery of Service Level Agreements.
- Maintain waste compliance documentation and data to support audits and regulatory requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the removal, transportation, and disposal of various waste streams, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Manage waste flows from the Helpdesk, CMMS, and schedules to align with service level agreements.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, field teams, and management to ensure clarity and timely execution of tasks, including chemical waste transport and uplifts.
- Track progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or unforeseen circumstances.
- Participate in daily meetings and provide updates to line managers.
- Conduct drum park reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and safe waste handling practices.
Requirements:
- WAMITAB Segregation Certificate
- Dangerous Goods - ADR Certificates
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams & CMMS systems
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and scheduling abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and systematic approach
- Full UK drivers licence
