Key Responsibilities:
- Plant Operations & Monitoring:
* Monitor the operation of the water treatment plant in line with work-based instructions and procedures.
* Ensure the plant is operating safely and efficiently.
* Identify and report any deviations from normal plant operation.
* Monitor and interpret data from the Site SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system.
* Execute SCADA control changes under the instruction of the Plant Controlling Mind (supervisor or manager).
* Make adjustments to plant operations as instructed by the Plant Controlling Mind.
- Record Keeping & Reporting:
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of plant operations, including readings, events, and maintenance activities.
* Prepare daily reports on plant performance and any notable events.
* Work collaboratively within the site team and report to the Plant Controlling Mind.
* Contribute to a positive and safe working environment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Current Water Hygiene (Blue) Card.
* Demonstrated experience in working on water treatment plants or related facilities.
* Strong understanding of water treatment processes and technologies.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with SCADA systems and control systems.
* Knowledge of water quality monitoring and analysis.
* First Aid certification.
* Experience in a 24/7 operational environment.
