Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Provide care and assistance to students who feel unwell or require emotional support during the school day.
- First Aid: Administer basic first aid and support children with minor injuries or health concerns.
- Lunch and Break Supervision: Monitor playgrounds and lunch areas, ensuring all children are safe and included.
- Promote Well-Being: Encourage positive behavior and foster an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Parent Communication: Liaise with parents or guardians about student health or welfare issues when needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, or any care provided.
- Support Vulnerable Students: Assist children with additional needs, ensuring they feel secure and valued.
What we are looking for:
- Is Caring and Compassionate: Demonstrates a genuine interest in student welfare.
- Has Strong Communication Skills: Able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Is Observant and Proactive: Quick to spot and respond to issues that may arise.
- Is Organized and Reliable: Can manage records and responsibilities effectively.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
