This primary is located in Thornton - Cleveleys - FY5 area with local parking accessible. This school is a stunning setting with an incredible faculty so you will not be alone, a general class TA and Teacher will be present in the class to support you. This school has spacious classrooms and colourful artwork flooding the hallway walls created by the pupils. The school prides its pupils' creativity and wants them to feel like whatever they are doing matters and should be shown as something to be proud of. Currently they are seeking a Year 1 Teacher to cover a maternity post between February and July 2025. The role will be full time, Monday - Friday (term time only) with full planning, prep, assessments and wider school responsibilities. The class itself includes 27 pupils and one general teaching assistant. There are no behaviour or special needs that standout, all children are on target and present good attainment, attention and attitude. PPA time will be allocated every Friday. This role will be paid to scale (set by school) between £155-200 per day based on AWR stipulations if they were to advertise.
We are seeking someone with prior KS1 experience, a strong familiarity to Phonics, the ability to continue children on their path of attainment and support character development.

Essential requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
- High knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum.
- Classroom experience.
- Two references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
