The Role:
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and engage our youngest learners, building the foundations for their future academic success. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring that the children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to provide a well-rounded educational experience for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the individual needs of all pupils.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, ensuring they feel confident and motivated to learn.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and training to support your professional development.
These are a few requirements for this role:
- Holds a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Has experience teaching Year 3 or a similar primary age group
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and a passion for creative teaching
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Is able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Is dedicated to providing a high standard of education and making a lasting impact on children's learning
- Is a team player who can work collaboratively in a supportive environment
