Essential Qualifications:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and child development.
• A passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working in Year 2 or a similar primary school setting.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and assess engaging lessons for Year 2 students in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment to enhance learning and development.
• Monitor and track student's progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
• Collaborate effectively with other teaching staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
• Manage classroom behaviour in a way that promotes respect, inclusive, and academic growth.
