Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Chorley. This position is to cover maternity leave, starting in January 2025, and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
This full-time role, spanning 4 days per week, has working hours from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and the potential to extend up to one year. It provides an excellent platform to showcase your expertise in delivering the KS2 curriculum and supporting pupils in their academic and personal development.
As the Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum, focusing on engaging and inclusive learning experiences. Strong behaviour management skills are essential to maintain a calm and focused classroom environment, enabling every child to thrive academically and socially.

Essential requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
- Classroom experience.
- Experienced with KS2 Teaching and children
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Relevant professional teaching references
- Being passionate about teaching and learning
