About the role:
- You will be responsible for teaching a class of 20 Year 5 students with varying needs in a mainstream primary school setting.
- You will create engaging and effective lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- You will have a proven track record of strong behaviour management skills, creating a safe and productive learning space for all students.
- You will work closely with the school's leadership team and support staff to ensure the smooth running of the classroom and the implementation of the school's curriculum.
Ideal candidate:
- Qualified teacher with a valid UK teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Year 5 or a similar age group.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to effectively manage challenging behaviour.
- Passionate about education and committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for all students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
