Are you a passionate and experienced Year 6 Teacher with a proven track record of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils? A Primary School in Castleford is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team temporarily from February to Easter.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal development of Year 6 students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 6 students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs of pupils, with a focus on SEN requirements.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Collaborate with the SEN department and support staff to implement effective strategies for SEN pupils.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 6 students.
- Previous experience and training in working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) pupils.
- Familiarity with different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
