This Care and education centre is looking for a young people and adult support worker to join their team ASAP on a full time, permanent basis. The setting supports approx. 65 young people and adults from the age of 19 years. Learners that attend are offered the opportunity to develop life skills, gain work experience, build confidence and develop social interaction, participate in educational activities and work towards educational milestones such as GCSE'S, Vocational study programmes etc. Learners from this setting have complex needs including but not limited to Autism, physical disability, brain injury and social and emotional needs so a supportive, nurturing and resilient team member is needed. This setting is bright and modern and has been operating for over 10 years. It offers learners a inclusive environment to thrive, it has lots to offer including a allotment, on site gym, cookery rooms, music rooms, sensory rooms and technology that most would dream of.
This role is needed ASAP and is based on approx 40 hours a week, this position requires you to work Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. This setting is open all year round and is not a term time only role. The existing team are passionate and dedicated and are invested in offering a safe and supportive environment for the learners. This setting is invested in all their staff members and their training and development and is a fabulous setting to work in.

- Relevant experience working or volunteering with young people and adults (Must be able to provide references)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
- Supporting young people and adults with complex needs from the age of 19 years
- Providing personal care if and when required
- Developing learners confidence and social interaction
- Supporting educational activities on a 1:1 and small group basis
