At Randstad, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and contribute to a brighter future. This unwavering commitment drives us to partner with organisations that share our vision for a more inclusive and equitable society. That’s why we are pleased to announce a new partnership with Enactus UK and Ireland, the leading youth social action and social enterprise education charity. This exciting new partnership is driven by a joint passion for empowering young people to drive positive change and a deep commitment to creating a society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

A shared vision

Enactus invests in students who drive entrepreneurial action for the betterment of society. With over 60 university partners and a diverse student body across various disciplines, Enactus supports students to design and implement sustainable projects that address issues like poverty, education, inequality, and environmental sustainability. They collaborate in teams to develop innovative solutions, gaining hands-on experience in project management, problem-solving, and leadership. Through mentorship from business and academic professionals, students refine their strategies and learn valuable skills. The focus is on empowering young people, addressing social mobility challenges, leveraging technology for good, fostering a circular economy and enhancing community engagement.

As an employment partner, Randstad supports students through the Enactus programme, through activities such as 'Career Catalyst'. This partnership provides students with opportunities to apply their skills in real-world scenarios, fostering personal and professional growth. By engaging with Enactus, students gain practical experience in project management, leadership, and social entrepreneurship, which complements the support services Randstad offers.

Building Leadership and Responsibility

Social impact initiatives inspire students to become active participants in solving real-world challenges. By addressing issues such as poverty, inequality, and environmental sustainability, students develop a sense of responsibility and leadership, empowering them to take charge of creating positive change.

Enhancing Employability Skills

Participating in socially impactful projects helps students develop essential skills like teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and project management. These experiences are highly valued by employers, making students more competitive in the job market.

Fostering Empathy and Emotional Intelligence

Engagement with social causes deepens students’ understanding of diverse communities and perspectives. This fosters empathy, emotional intelligence, and a broader worldview, which are critical for personal and professional growth in today’s interconnected world.

Enhancing Community Connections

Social impact projects often involve collaboration with diverse groups and organisations, helping students build networks while positively contributing to their communities. This strengthens their sense of belonging and civic engagement.

A collaborative approach to building a brighter future

Partnering with Enactus UKI enhances our ability to provide comprehensive support to students. Through this collaboration, we help students develop entrepreneurial skills and address social and environmental issues, aligning with our mission to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn and succeed. By supporting Enactus UKI  initiatives, Randstad contributes to creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for students nationwide.
