Randstad Education works with many Havering schools to locate active, engaged, and motivated teachers on a supply basis. You will be able to work on a daily basis, but this might lead to something more permanent in the future. You might be assigned to any of the Havering schools.
REQUIREMENTS FROM AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Teaching experience and qualifications
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (we can assist with applying for a new DBS if required)
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Able to reference your recent teaching work (must be able to provide 2 professional references)
- Commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SUPPLY TEACHER:
- Make certain that you manage conduct successfully in whatever classes you've been requested to teach
- Passing on relevant information promptly and effectively within the school
- Adhering to the assigned cover work and encouraging students to engage in and complete it
- Taking registers, covering form periods and a variety of lessons/subjects throughout the day
- Creating a peaceful and effective learning environment for students
- Dealing with any difficulties that may occur in a timely and professional manner
- Make sure you arrive on time for the school you've registered for
- Assuring that you are consistently available for bookings beginning at 7:00 a.m. on each day that you are available for work.
- When covering that school, adhering to appropriate school regulations
